Case Study I

A Tier I mortgage lender adopted a plan to capture significant additional market share in adverse market conditions. The strategy required a comprehensive evaluation of their technology suite, including its organization. 

iGlass provided insight and guidance to the client strategy and technical team, advising on current trends in mortgage industry technology, evaluating their current status and giving direction on the development of a future state and the construction of an effective roadmap to get there.

The evaluation resulted in a re-alignment  of the company’s technology  plans to better match the business needs and its insights provided development stimulus at the highest levels of the client.           

Case Study II

iGlass Consulting was engaged as a member of a team assessing the current state architecture of a Tier 1 international Payments provider. The mission was to assess the client’s major processing application suite and its technical underpinnings. This involved conducting select code reviews to ascertain the level of overall quality, assessing the ability of the core application to meet planned business needs and technical requirements and assisting in the creation of viable future state scenarios for the core application. In addition to identifying alternative solutions the engagement also included assessing the current state of the client resource pool and its ability to deliver the future state.

Case Study III

A Fortune 500 software provider to the global lending industry needed to update some of its sales tools.  In particular, their existing ROI Model was complex and time consuming and failed to provide prospects with convincing business cases.  iGlass Consulting was asked to refresh the old model and re-fit it for purpose.  Our consultants surveyed key stakeholders at existing customers, selected sales prospects, as well as the company itself and with this guidance we built a new ROI Model for their Client Managers and Salesforce.  With simple yet critical inputs and clear outputs, this model is designed to facilitate engagement between clients and the company and highlight the Value Proposition in a convincing manner.  The new and improved ROI Model has been adopted with enthusiasm.

Case Study IV

iGlass Consulting recently wrapped up a successful QC Risk Testing project for a global Tier 1
bank… where our assessment, gap analysis, test design and execution, as well as
reporting and presentation capabilities were maximized by a seasoned team of 12 consultants. The project was to assure lending processes were controlled and monitored according
to the bank’s current risk appetite, as defined by their governing framework.

The client, a top mortgage lender, required the building of robust Audit and Risk Testing models to demonstrate compliance with an OCC Consent Order and the introduction of new FHFA and GSE servicing guidance.  iGlass deployed a team of mortgage subject matter experts that went to work with the client’s QC and Risk Management groups, designing, building and initiating a program of complex key control testing regimes, both inline and post mortem on loan servicing  processes, legacy systems and in selected high priority areas.

The iGlass Consultants worked with urgency and with no pre-existing models, to lead a number of  design components from development  into production within the agreed deadlines , enabling the bank’s leadership to meet their commitments to multiple regulators and at the same time demonstrate an enhanced ERM – Enterprise Risk Management structure to key operational stakeholders.
